Which UK employers are sponsoring Skilled Worker visas right now?

A vacancy is counted when four things hold at once: it is open and is not a duplicate of another advert we already hold; the employer matches an organisation on the Home Office register of licensed sponsors; the advert was not classified as posted by a recruitment agency; the advert carries a full description rather than a stub; and its occupation code is one Appendix Skilled Occupations marks eligible for the Skilled Worker route.

The agency test is the weak one. An advert is marked as agency-posted from the feed’s own metadata and from the board it arrived on, so an agency advertising on its own careers site is not detected and appears here as an employer. Staffing businesses holding their own sponsor licence do appear in the table. The separate article on agencies and direct employers sets out why that distinction matters.

Sector is the employer’s principal registered activity at Companies House, taken from the first SIC code on its record. It describes the company, not the advertised job.

A sponsor licence permits an employer to sponsor. It is not a statement that any particular vacancy is open to sponsorship, and employers advertise roles they will not sponsor.
