IT Service Desk Analyst (1st Line Support) York | Permanent | Hybrid Working Salary - £29,000 + Bonus + Benefits We're looking for a customer-focused IT Service Desk Analyst to join a busy IT team in York. Acting as the first point of contact for IT support, you'll provide first-line technical assistance, manage incidents and service requests, and help ensure users receive a professional and efficient service. Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st line support via phone, email and ticketing systems. Log, prioritise and resolve IT incidents and service requests. Support Microsoft 365 and Windows-based environments. Manage user access requests and onboarding/offboarding activities. Assist with IT asset management and hardware deployments. Escalate complex issues to specialist teams where required.
About You
Previous customer service or support experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365. Organised, proactive and keen to develop a career in IT. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
Previous Service Desk or Helpdesk experience. Knowledge of ITSM tools and SLAs.
