IT Support Contractor
Location: South East London- College Campus (On-site) Contract: Temporary Contractor – 8 Weeks Rate: £120- £130 per day
We are seeking three experienced IT Support Contractors to join our team during one of the busiest periods of the academic year. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth start to the term by supporting student enrolment, deploying IT equipment, and providing top-notch IT support to both staff and students. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are ready to make an immediate impact, this position is for you.
Day-to-day of the role:
Support student enrolment and induction activities. Build, configure, and deploy Windows laptops and desktops. Provide first and second-line IT support. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues. Set up classrooms, teaching spaces, and end-user equipment. Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user account administration. Assist with device rollouts, asset management, and various IT projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Service Desk roles. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365. Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. Experience in configuring laptops and desktop devices. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities. Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Azure/Entra ID, and working within an educational environment.
