IT Support Analyst | Liverpool | £30,000 - £34,000
Are you an experienced IT Support Analyst who enjoys providing hands-on, face-to-face support and taking ownership of technical issues through to resolution?
We’re recruiting an IT Support Analyst to join the IT Services team of a leading international professional services organisation, supporting a large UK user base from their Liverpool office.

Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 Location: Albert Dock, Liverpool Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm 1st and 2nd line support environment

What you’ll be doing:
Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support via phone, email, walk-up and deskside support Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Exchange and Active Directory Troubleshooting hardware, software, user access and application issues Supporting legal-specific applications and document management systems Logging, managing and resolving incidents within agreed SLAs Taking ownership of technical issues through to resolution or escalation Supporting joiners, movers and leavers, including account and access setup Carrying out proactive floor-walking and providing visible IT support Assisting with IT projects, software rollouts, testing and business changes Working closely with senior analysts and wider technical teams
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 2 years’ experience within an IT Support, Desktop Support or Service Desk role Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge Good Windows 11 support experience Active Directory experience Microsoft Exchange knowledge Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with iManage or another document management system would be advantageous ITIL knowledge would be beneficial Previous legal or professional services experience would be advantageous
You’ll suit this position if you’re approachable, proactive and comfortable supporting users at all levels of a business. You should enjoy taking ownership of problems rather than simply passing tickets on, while remaining calm and professional in a busy environment.
