IT Support Engineer
Location: Clacton-on-Sea Salary: Up to £30,000 Type: Full-Time | Permanent
A growing IT services provider based in Clacton-on-Sea is looking to hire a friendly and motivated 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join its expanding support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is looking to build hands-on experience within a busy MSP environment, working with a wide range of technologies and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Providing 1st line technical support via phone, email, and remote support tools Logging and managing support tickets Troubleshooting basic hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues Supporting Microsoft 365 users including password resets and mailbox support Setting up laptops, desktops, and user accounts Escalating more complex issues to senior engineers when required Delivering excellent customer service to end users
Skills & Experience
Previous IT support experience or IT qualification preferred Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 Good communication and customer service skills Eagerness to learn and develop technically Ability to work well within a team environment Full UK driving licence beneficial but not essential
