Head of Case Management
Location: Wolverhampton / Hybrid Contract: Permanent, Full Time Working pattern: Regular attendance in Wolverhampton initially, moving to predominantly remote working once established, with approximately monthly office attendance.
We are recruiting an experienced Case Management professional to establish and lead a new in-house Case Management division for a growing CQC-regulated complex care provider.
This is a unique opportunity to join at the beginning of the service. Initially, you will manage your own caseload of complex clients while developing the operational structure, processes and referral pathways. As the service grows, you will recruit additional Case Managers and take responsibility for leading and developing the department.
Key responsibilities include managing a complex caseload, establishing the new Case Management service, developing operational processes and governance, building relationships with ICBs, NHS commissioners, solicitors and other referral partners, and recruiting and leading Case Managers as the division grows.
We are looking for an experienced Case Manager with a background in complex care, rehabilitation, catastrophic injury, ABI, spinal injury or a related area. You will also need strong operational experience, with evidence of leading people, developing services or implementing effective processes.
Experience working with ICBs, NHS commissioners, solicitors, insurers or the medico-legal sector would be particularly valuable.
A relevant clinical or professional registration would be advantageous, although substantial Case Management and complex care experience will also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to remain hands-on initially while building and ultimately leading a successful Case Management division, with considerable flexibility to work remotely once the service is established.
