About Us
At Kings Court Trust, we occupy a unique, privileged position. We are called upon at a sensitive time when families are going through the stages of grief, but there is an acceptance that certain realities need to be addressed.
Our Purpose
To support families through bereavement with expert guidance and genuine compassion, making a complex process feel manageable and human.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware and software issues, triaging and resolving tickets or escalating to our managed service provider where needed. Act as the internal point of contact between KCT and our managed service provider, tracking tickets through to resolution. Support system administration tasks – user accounts, permissions, device management, patching, and basic server / cloud administration. Assist with technical implementation projects, such as new systems, rollouts, and migrations. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and support procedures. Support cyber security hygiene tasks, building your knowledge and confidence in this area over time.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications are desirable but not essential. We are looking for individuals with some of the following experience:
1 – 3 years' experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or junior systems administration role. Working knowledge of Windows environments and common business software. Some exposure to system administration (Active Directory, M365 admin, device management). Comfortable liaising with third-party suppliers or service providers. Exposure to cyber security concepts or tasks is a bonus.
The type of person you’ll be:
A clear and confident communicator, comfortable explaining technical issues to non-technical colleagues. Proactive, curious, and hungry to learn. Well organised and reliable, with good ownership of your work. Someone who wants to grow – this role comes with genuine progression into systems administration, infrastructure, or IT delivery.
What We Can Offer You
We believe in rewarding great work. For this role we offer the following benefits from day one:
£30,000 – £32,000 per annum. 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing annually to 30. Health Cash Plan – Cash back for Dental, optical, and other treatments. Employee discounts across a range of products and services. Variety of salary sacrifice benefits such as tech vouchers, dental & holiday buy. Company pension scheme – matching up to 5%. Income protection insurance. Life assurance policy. Enhanced family leave (upon completion of probation). Cycle to work scheme. Employee Assistance Programme.
