IT Desktop Support Analyst
Location: Tidworth, Wiltshire
Contract: 3 months (potential to extend)
Start: ASAP
Rate: £17.99 per hour PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay
Hours: 40 hours per week, fully office based
Security Clearance: BPSS and SC clearance preferred
We are recruiting an IT Desktop Support Analyst to join a busy IT support team based in Tidworth, WIltshire.
This is a hands-on desktop support role responsible for configuring, deploying and maintaining IT equipment, while providing responsive technical support to users both in the office and remotely.
The successful candidate will have practical desktop support experience, a good understanding of Windows environments and confidence supporting hardware, software, mobile devices and meeting-room technology.

Key Responsibilities
Configure desktops and prepare equipment for deployment to end users Install and deliver desktop hardware, peripherals and associated equipment Provide desktop incident support to office-based and remote users Build, image and configure PCs in line with standard processes Support user moves between office locations, including cabling, patching and desktop configuration Assist with hardware disposal, returns and delivery processes Support corporate mobile phones and personal device access Provide support for meeting-room hardware Assist users with business applications and multi-factor authentication Escalate incidents that cannot be resolved within agreed service levels Maintain accurate, professional communication with users and colleagues Follow IT processes, procedures and company standards Comply with Health & Safety requirements when moving and handling IT equipment
Please note that the role involves the physical movement of IT equipment, including moving hardware around the office and into or out of storage areas.
Skills & Experience
Previous desktop support, IT support or service desk experience Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft applications Experience imaging, building or configuring PCs using MECM, Configuration Manager or similar tools Good hardware and peripheral troubleshooting skills Strong communication and customer service skills Good written and spoken English Full UK driving licence (company vehicles will be provided)
