Centura Group is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Mitcham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft 365, Windows and endpoint management experience who enjoys working across a varied technology environment.
As a key member of the IT team, you'll provide first and second-line support to colleagues across the business, ensuring systems, devices and users remain productive, secure and connected.
The IT Support Technician Role
Reporting into the IT function, you'll be responsible for providing responsive technical support and maintaining the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing first and second-line IT support via phone, email, remote support and in person Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking and printer issues Installing, configuring and supporting Windows 11 devices and mobile technology Managing user accounts, email accounts and permissions within Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 Coordinating user onboarding, offboarding and equipment allocation Supporting Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and OneDrive Managing devices through Microsoft Intune Installing software, drivers and security updates Troubleshooting Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP and general network connectivity issues Supporting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and meeting room technology Maintaining accurate records within the IT ticketing system Assisting with server, storage and backup administration Supporting cybersecurity initiatives including MFA, endpoint protection and antivirus solutions Contributing to IT improvement projects, hardware refresh programmes and Microsoft 365 deployments Managing IT asset inventories and software licensing records Creating and maintaining technical documentation and user guides
