Our growing Managed Services client based in Tolvaddon are looking for an office-based IT Support Technician to act as the first point of contact for the service desk. This role is for an initial 3 month contract .
You’ll be supporting multiple organisations with various environments, operating systems and hardware, support senior engineers on project work and carry out maintenance on server and networking hardware.
IT Support Technician responsibilities:
Customer service support - act as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support. IT infrastructure - deploying, configuring and operating IT Infrastructure Systems installation and removal - Installing and testing, or decommissioning and removing, systems or system components. Security operations -delivering management, technical and administrative services to implement security controls and security management strategies Network support - providing maintenance and support services for communications networks. Application support - delivering management, technical and administrative services to support and maintain live applications.
IT Support Technician background and experience:
Experience in a service desk or support role Microsoft 365 Admin Centre Supporting Windows Client OS Supporting Microsoft Office Active Directory tools Basic understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Have or working towards Microsoft 365/Azure fundamentals/Educator
