IT WMS Support Analyst
Location : Milton Keynes Job Type : Full Time Salary : £35,000 DOE Shifts: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.00pm
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused WMS Systems Analyst to help ensure the smooth operation of warehouse management and business systems across a fast-paced distribution environment.
Working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders, you will support existing systems, identify opportunities for process improvements, and assist with the implementation of new solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for Warehouse Management System (WMS) queries and issues. Collaborate with operational teams to assess requirements and identify productivity improvements. Work with system users to develop practical, supportable solutions. Support a range of business-critical systems alongside the wider systems team. Test and implement new processes, integrations, and third-party interfaces, including carrier systems. Deliver user training on systems and business processes. Manage system updates, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. Document processes and create user guides where required.
Please note: This role will require occasional out-of-hours work to support system changes and business-critical operations.
What We're Looking For
You will be a strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English, capable of building effective relationships with users at all levels. You will enjoy problem-solving, delivering outstanding service, and driving continuous improvement within a warehouse and logistics environment. Requirements include:
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems. Understanding of warehouse operations and distribution environments. Experience delivering high-quality customer or user support. SQL reporting and query-writing skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with iReports. Configuration and support of RDT (Radio Data Terminal) devices. ODBC reporting within Microsoft Excel. Oracle APEX knowledge. Experience with RedPrairie/Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS. PowerShell or other scripting languages. PL/SQL experience. Knowledge of warehouse automation systems.
