The IT Adviser - Office Based and After 3 months probation - Hybrid
This role is 3 prong, IT Support, Data Analysis and Training
Support financial advisory firms by delivering technology assistance, data analysis, and software training to ensure effective use of systems and high-quality client outcomes.
The role combines technical support, system implementation, training delivery, and contribution to ongoing system improvements, while maintaining strong compliance standards and a focus on adviser and client needs.
IT Advisor Core Responsibilities
Technology Support & Data:
- Respond to software-related queries from member firms.
- Analyse, cleanse, and assist in migration of back-office data
- Assist with software configuration, license administration, and system upgrades.
Training & Implementation:
- Deliver high-quality training for new and existing users on both a face to face and remote basis.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date training manuals and supporting documentation.
- Demonstrate system functionality to potential new Financial Advisory Firms. Systems Improvement:
- Support testing of network-driven system enhancements.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to inform system development.
Client & Compliance Focus:
- Uphold the companies commitment to delivering outcomes that prioritise Client Best Interests.
- Maintain full compliance with all the companies policies, especially the Conflict-of-Interest Policy and the Inducement & Incentive Policy.
The IT Advisor key skills ;-
Essential Skills
- Proven training experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Qualifications & experience
- Financial Services qualifications preferred
- Experience within financial services and understanding of financial products.
- Experience delivering software training to non-technical users.
- Experience in undertaking data analysis
