For one of our leading clients, we are searching for experienced freelance Technical Business Analysts (SFIA4) to support a major digital transformation programme within the UK Public Sector. You'll work within agile, cross-functional teams, helping shape and deliver digital services by bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery. Role Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements across complex digital services Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria and product backlogs in collaboration with Product Managers and Delivery Teams Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and align priorities Map and analyse business processes to identify improvements and support service transformation Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for Developers, Architects and Testers Support UAT activities and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and acceptance criteria Use data and evidence-driven approaches to support decision making and product development Work within agile product teams delivering cloud-native digital services
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical, Digital, Agile or Senior Business Analyst within digital transformation programmes Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills Extensive experience creating user stories, managing backlogs and supporting agile delivery practices Strong process mapping and business process analysis capabilities Experience facilitating workshops and managing a range of business and technical stakeholders Ability to work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Architects and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle Strong experience with Jira and Confluence Experience working within cloud-native, product-led or digital service environments Public sector, government or large-scale enterprise delivery experience is highly desirable Excellent communication, facilitation and documentation skills
Role Details:
Location: Primarily Remote with occasional travel to Newcastle or Manchester Travel Requirement: 2-3 visits to Newcastle during the first 6 weeks, followed by occasional monthly travel Contract Length: Initial 6 months with strong likelihood of extension Clearance: Eligible for SC Clearance (5 years continuous UK residency required) Contract: Freelance
