An award-winning and rapidly expanding business is looking to recruit a Group Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys a hands-on reporting role while contributing to process improvements and finance projects within a dynamic environment.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in group reporting, statutory accounts, audit coordination and continuous improvement initiatives, with exposure to a broad range of financial responsibilities.
Responsibilities: As a Group Accountant, you will...
Assist with the preparation and review of monthly group management accounts, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations. Support the preparation of statutory accounts and act as a key contact during the annual audit process. Prepare and investigate balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, maintaining strong financial controls and governance. Lead and support finance improvement projects, including systems implementations and process enhancements.

ACCA or ACA qualified with at least two years' post-qualified experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in financial reporting.
