Robert Half are partnering with a leading Real Estate organisation to recruit a Business Systems Analyst on an initial 3-month contract.
This role will support the discovery phase of a business-wide initiative to create a centralised knowledge repository for business processes, policies and operational documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand how teams currently operate, document existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve the structure and accessibility of business information.
This is a highly collaborative role suited to someone with strong business analysis skills, excellent stakeholder management and experience documenting business processes within complex organisations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand current business processes, systems and operational workflows. Audit existing policies, procedures and documentation, identifying gaps, duplication and areas requiring standardisation. Capture and document current ("as-is") business processes using recognised business analysis techniques. Gather and analyse business requirements to ensure documentation accurately reflects existing ways of working. Produce clear, structured and consistent process documentation for inclusion within a centralised business knowledge repository. Work with business and technical teams to ensure documentation is accurate, complete and aligned across departments. Identify opportunities to improve documentation standards and knowledge management practices. Support the planning and coordination of discovery activities, ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed timescales. Provide recommendations to improve the organisation, accessibility and governance of business documentation.
Experience:
Proven experience working as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst. Strong experience conducting business discovery and requirements gathering. Demonstrable experience documenting business processes, operational procedures and workflows. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage users across multiple business functions. Experience facilitating workshops, interviews and process mapping sessions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to simplify complex business processes into clear, concise documentation. Experience working on business transformation, process improvement or knowledge management initiatives is highly desirable. Previous experience within Real Estate, Property or Facilities Management environments would be advantageous.
