IT Build Engineer

The Role
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Service Desk Engineer to join their Build Team. This role is ideal for an IT professional with experience in workstation deployment, device builds and user provisioning within a fast-paced MSP or multi-client environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and configure Windows devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. Provision and manage user accounts within Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Configure and support endpoint security, compliance policies and device management. Ensure all deployments meet internal quality standards and documented processes. Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation. Manage IT assets and ensure accurate recording of deployed equipment. Support and improve user provisioning and deployment processes to increase operational efficiency. Deliver a professional service when communicating with clients, end users and internal teams. Prioritise and manage workload effectively while meeting agreed service levels.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Previous experience working within an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar multi-client environment. A genuine passion for technology and continuous process improvement. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong customer service and communication skills.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot device deployment and management. Experience provisioning and supporting users within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory (including Microsoft Entra ID). Good understanding of Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Previous experience working in a Service Desk, Build Engineer or IT Support role (3+ years preferred). Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or multi-client environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to produce and maintain clear technical documentation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Experience working within SLA-driven environments and following standardised processes.
