Position Overview:
We're seeking a Pacing Cardiac Physiologist to with inpatient wards and outpatients.
To take a lead in pacemaker, ICD and CRT follow up checks, documenting results and accounting for programming changes and making decisions about further diagnostic investigation or intervention as required To support PPM, ICD and CRT implantation including selection of appropriate devices and programming appropriately for each patient. To navigate remote monitoring platforms and create detailed reports
Essential Skills
BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent ILS RCCP registration (desirable) British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) accreditation or European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) accreditation or International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) accreditation Experience with Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Biotroniks and St Jude Pacemaker programmers Experience as independent practitioner in cardiology investigations Experience of assisting in Pacemaker and Implantable Loop recorder implantation (desirable) 24 hour Holter analysis.
