Childcare Lecturer - T-Levels Location: Merseyside Contract: Temporary Working days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Hours: Part-time / 4 days per week Rate: £35 - £40 per hour Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Childcare Lecturer to join a college in Merseyside, delivering Level 2 Childcare T-Level programmes across four days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate education professional to support students in developing the knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours needed for successful careers in the early years and childcare sector. The role As a Childcare Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Level 2 Childcare T Level programmes.
- Plan lessons and prepare relevant teaching and learning resources.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner progress and provide support where required.
- Prepare students for practical and work-related elements of their programmes..
About you You will ideally have:
- A relevant qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Education or a related subject.
- Experience teaching or supporting learners at Level 2 and/or T Level.
- Current knowledge of early years and childcare practice.
- A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their potential.
