Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Audiologist to join a supportive and high‑performing Audiology department on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within a well-established clinical setting, covering a range of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services.
You will provide comprehensive audiological assessments and hearing aid fittings while supporting the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient‑centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a full range of adult audiology services, including diagnostic assessments and hearing aid fitting.
Deliver high‑quality patient‑centred care in line with departmental and national standards.
Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with professional guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with clinical colleagues to support patient pathways and continuity of care.
Contribute to service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Must be registered with the HCPC or RCCP.
Demonstrated experience working within NHS or equivalent Audiology services.
Proficient in adult hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings (NHS pathways).
Confident working autonomously within a clinical environment.
Strong communication, organisational, and clinical decision‑making skills.
