Position: Locum Therapy Assistant Banding : Band 3 Location : Epsom Start Date : ASAP Duration : Temporary Contract (3 months) H ours : Full-Time Rate : £11.00 - £13.00 per hour
Job Description: Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Locum Therapy Assistant to join our Horton Rehabilitation Services team in Epsom. This role is essential for supporting individuals with mental health challenges, contributing to their recovery and well-being.
What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?
As a Band 3 Locum Therapy Assistant you will assist in delivering therapeutic interventions and support to patients within the rehabilitation setting. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to help implement care plans tailored to each patient’s needs. You will provide support during group and individual therapy sessions, fostering a safe and encouraging environment for patients. You will help monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the clinical team. You will ensure accurate documentation of patient activities and maintain confidentiality in accordance with trust policies.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Relevant experience working in mental health settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate approach to patient care
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
