Registered Nurses | Occupational Therapists | Physiotherapists | Paramedics | Pharmacists Location: Salisbury – Hybrid Salary: £40,000–£42,000 + bonus scheme Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Full-time & part-time opportunities available Are you a clinically experienced healthcare professional looking to move away from front line care while continuing to use your assessment skills, clinical reasoning and professional judgement? We are looking for PIP Disability Assessors to assess how an individual's physical and/or psychological health conditions affect their functional ability, daily living and mobility . The Role As a PIP Disability Assessor , you will:
Conduct structured functional assessments by telephone and face-to-face Take detailed clinical reports and establish the functional impact of health conditions Assess an individual's ability to complete specific activities of daily living and mobility tasks Review and critically evaluate existing medical and clinical evidence Apply your clinical reasoning and professional judgement when considering functional limitations Produce clear, accurate and objective evidence-based reports Consider the impact of conditions on an individual's functional capacity, independence and day-to-day activities Work within relevant DWP guidelines, assessment criteria and quality standards
Essential Requirements: You must be a currently registered healthcare professional with relevant post-registration clinical experience in one of the following professions:
Registered Nurse (General Adult, Learning disability, Mental health nurse) NMC Occupational Therapist HCPC Physiotherapist HCPC Paramedic HCPC Pharmacist GPhC Your background should demonstrate experience using clinical assessment, history-taking, evidence evaluation and professional judgement . This role is not suitable for Social Workers, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, Receptionists, Administrators or other non-registered professions. What’s on Offer?
