Job Title: Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist Banding: Band 6/7 Location: North Wales
Start Date: ASAP Rate: £26.00–£32.00 per hour Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time

Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary Child Development Centre team in North Wales. This fixed-term role provides maternity leave cover and is delivered fully face-to-face within a highly supportive MDT environment.
You will work with children presenting with a range of communication needs and dysphagia, contributing your clinical expertise to assessments, interventions, and collaborative planning. This opportunity is ideal for a Band 6 or Band 7 clinician looking to further develop specialist paediatric skills in a well-established service.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Support the assessment, diagnosis, and management of children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and dysphagia within the Child Development Centre.
Deliver evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each child’s developmental needs.
Work collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate, professional clinical records in line with service and HCPC standards.
Contribute to MDT meetings, case discussions, and reviews to support integrated care planning.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
HCPC registration and eligibility for RCSLT membership.
Clinical experience within paediatrics, including communication and dysphagia.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an MDT setting.
A reflective, proactive approach to service delivery and professional growth.
