About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Home Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a care home in Birmingham (B1). This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef who takes pride in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, while enjoying great pay and flexible daytime working hours.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and prepare varied, nutritious menus suitable for residents' dietary needs Lead and support kitchen staff to maintain high standards Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations Manage stock control, ordering, and portion control effectively Adapt menus for specific dietary requirements (e.g. soft food, allergies, diabetic needs)
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef, ideally within care home, healthcare, or contract catering Strong understanding of nutrition and special dietary requirements Excellent leadership and communication skills Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards A caring, patient, and flexible approach to work
