What You'll Be Doing
As Management Accountant, you'll be at the heart of the finance function, delivering meaningful financial insight that supports growth and performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Producing monthly management accounts and performance reports. Providing insightful analysis and commentary on financial results. Investigating and explaining variances against budgets, forecasts and prior performance. Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments. Supporting audit and statutory reporting requirements. Partnering with managers across the business to improve profitability and performance. Supporting cash flow, cost control and working capital initiatives. Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, controls and financial processes. Contributing to systems improvements, automation and transformation projects. Supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate.
You'll ideally have:
Essential
Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent. Previous Management Accountant experience. Strong management accounting and reporting knowledge. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
