Job Title: Obstetrics Sonographer Location: West Yorkshire Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified Obstetrics Sonographer to join a well-regarded NHS service in West Yorkshire. The role focuses exclusively on obstetric scanning, offering the opportunity to work within a high-quality service recognised for its clinical standards (DQASS green or amber flag). You will work as part of a supportive team, providing accurate diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of obstetric ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
Produce accurate reports and make appropriate referrals where necessary.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity during all examinations.
Contribute to the delivery of a professional and efficient ultrasound service.
Requirements:
HCPC registration.
Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).
Proven experience in obstetric ultrasound scanning.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
