We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist engineering business looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple installation projects from planning through to completion.
The successful candidate will have strong working knowledge of BS5839 and FIA qualifications.
Job Title: Project Manager
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
Location: Site presence within London & Remote working
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from contract award through to completion and final handover Develop project programmes, budgets and cash flow forecasts Coordinate project launch meetings with clients, suppliers and internal teams Review technical designs, specifications and installation requirements Procure materials, subcontractors and labour to ensure successful project delivery Monitor project progress, programme milestones and resource allocation Control project costs, forecasts, variations and applications for payment Administer subcontractor packages and final accounts Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and site teams Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates Ensure all works are completed in line with current industry regulations and health & safety standards Carry out site inspections and support quality, safety and compliance initiatives Lead and mentor project teams, engineers and subcontractors Identify project risks early and implement practical solutions
Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing engineering, building services or technical installation projects Strong commercial and budget management skills Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple workstreams The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent communication and organisational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Full UK Driving License, CSCS Card and SMSTS qualification
