We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation within the construction sector for an experienced Management Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to play a key role in supporting business performance, financial planning, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership and the Finance Controller, you'll provide accurate financial insight, drive continuous improvement, and help support the organisation's ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets and forecasts Provide meaningful financial analysis and commentary to support business decisions Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management processes Undertake financial administration, reconciliations and internal audits Assist with external audits and respond to audit queries Work closely with managers across the business to provide financial insight and support Develop and improve financial systems, controls and reporting processes Monitor income and expenditure against budgets and highlight variances Support and mentor junior members of the finance team Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Maintain accurate financial records and compliance with company procedures
About You
Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant Previous experience within a Management Accountant role Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems Experience preparing management accounts, budgets and forecasts Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines Construction industry experience would be highly advantageous Proactive, organised and committed to continuous improvement
