Technical Solutions Analyst Location: London Overview
A global bank is seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst to support business and technology initiatives. The role combines business analysis, process improvement, software development, and stakeholder engagement, helping translate business requirements into technical solutions while delivering automation and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Solution Design
Gather and analyse business requirements. Produce technical specifications and solution designs. Conduct system impact assessments and workflow analysis. Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.
Development & Automation
Develop Python scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency. Build, test, and maintain small-scale applications and end-user solutions. Troubleshoot issues and enhance existing systems.
Systems & Technical Support
Perform SQL-based data analysis and support API testing. Work with infrastructure, desktop, and network teams on technical implementations. Support software releases, incidents, and production issues, including occasional out-of-hours support.
Requirements
3-6 years' experience in Business Analysis, Application Support, Software Development, or a related technology role. Strong Python and SQL skills. Experience with system analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Degree educated or equivalent experience preferred.
