Your new company A well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its quality team. Operating within a highly regulated environment, the business supplies precision-engineered products to a diverse customer base and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and continuous improvement. Your new role As a Laboratory Technician, you will support quality assurance and testing activities across the business, ensuring products and materials meet customer, regulatory and internal specifications.Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting laboratory testing, inspections and analysis of materials and finished products. Maintaining accurate test records, reports and quality documentation. Supporting investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints. Assisting with calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Working closely with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with quality standards. Supporting internal and external audits. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across quality and laboratory processes.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a laboratory, quality, testing or inspection environment. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Good written and verbal communication skills. Experience producing accurate technical and quality documentation.
