Job Title: Management Accountant
Salary: £45,000

Robert Walters are currently supporting a leading business based in Stafford in their recruitment of a qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The role requires 5 days on-site and is paying £45k .
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
Prepare monthly management accounts with accuracy, ensuring all financial data is presented clearly for internal review. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to gather relevant information. Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and investigating variances to maintain high standards of financial integrity. Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement in a manner that supports decision-making. Work together with other finance professionals to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations at all times. Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts, liaising with auditors as required to facilitate smooth year-end procedures.
What you bring:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Your interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments, fostering an inclusive atmosphere. You have strong analytical abilities that allow you to interpret financial data sensitively and provide meaningful insights for decision-makers. Your attention to detail ensures accurate preparation of management accounts and reliable reconciliation of financial records. You are comfortable using accounting software packages and Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes, showing dependability in handling data. You demonstrate empathy when responding to queries from stakeholders, making complex information accessible for all audiences. You are committed to continuous learning through participation in training sessions and sharing knowledge with others. You bring experience supporting month-end close processes and statutory account preparation within a finance team environment.
