We are currently seeking an experienced Horticulture Lecturer to join a Further Education College in Rotherham on a temporary short term basis.
Role Details
Position: Horticulture Lecturer Location: Rotherham Contract: Temporary until 23rd October 2026 Teaching Hours: 29.5 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday) Total Weekly Hours : 36 hours Rate: Competitive hourly rate
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Horticulture courses to Further Education learners. Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements. Support and monitor student progress, providing guidance to help learners achieve their full potential. Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall quality of teaching and learning.
Essential Requirements
Teaching Qualification (TQ) or equivalent. Previous experience delivering courses within a Further Education setting. Relevant horticultural qualifications and/or industry experience. Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
