About The Company: An ambitious and growing business is looking to appoint a commercially minded Finance Manager to work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in its next phase of development. This is an opportunity to join at an exciting stage of growth, in a role that offers far more than traditional finance responsibilities. The successful individual will become a trusted business partner, helping to build scalable processes and supporting wider strategic initiatives over time. The Role: A broad, hands-on Finance Manager role for an entrepreneurial and technically strong finance professional. Working closely with the business’s leadership team, you will take ownership of core finance activity while contributing to commercial planning, operational development and future growth projects. This role will suit someone who is ambitious, adaptable and motivated by the prospect of growing with a business over the long term. Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of key finance processes, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and effective day-to-day financial management. Work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insight and support informed commercial decision-making. Help develop financial plans, budgets, forecasts and longer-term business models. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and financial controls as the business grows. Support the preparation of management information and analysis to monitor business performance. Contribute to wider business projects and take on additional responsibilities as the role develops. Support the future development and management of a finance team. Assist with potential strategic activity, including growth planning and acquisition-related work.
Desirable Skills:
Strong technical finance experience, with the confidence to take ownership of a broad finance remit. Previous experience in a commercially focused, fast-paced or growth-oriented business. Ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset, with a genuine interest in helping a business scale. Strong management capability or the potential and appetite to develop into a leadership role. Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing beyond a traditional finance remit. Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted working relationships. Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the confidence to identify opportunities and drive improvements. An interest in longer-term financial planning, team development and strategic growth initiatives.
