Role: Foundation Studies Lecturer Location: Cheshire/Merseyside area Rate: £35p/h Starting 1st September Contract: Temp, Part Time. Eden Brown are seeking a passionate and committed Foundation Studies Lecturer to join a dedicated team at Leading Further Education College in Widnes on a temporary, part time basis. This rewarding role involves teaching and supporting learners with a range of additional learning needs, helping them develop the academic, personal and employability skills they need to progress towards greater independence, further study or employment. About the Role You will deliver a varied and engaging curriculum across the Foundation Studies provision, for the following timetable: Monday Pathway to Progression, Mixed Options - IT, Enrichment games Tuesday Job Club - preparing pre-interns for work experience, interview skills etc etc. Thursday Functional Skills Maths Friday Functional Skills English What Were Looking For We are looking for someone who: *Holds a recognised teaching qualification *Has experience teaching within Further Education, Foundation Learning or SEND provision. *Can plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons. *Is committed to promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes for learners. *Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including Additional Learning Support staff. *Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
