Systems Requirements Engineer
Permanent - Bristol based - Hybrid working
Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Systems Requirements Engineer to join their growing team. This role is vital for supporting European forces in maximising the system's potential and extending capabilities for current and future export contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Helping the customer understand and capture their needs Deriving suitable system, subsystem, and software requirements to meet those needs Informing product line approaches to create a common suite of products for different customers Determining and managing processes and procedures to control changes Acting as a customer for specific software items
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in requirements management and derivation (ideally in defence) Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, DOORS NG, and Rhapsody Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers Knowledge in engineering change control and management Capability to initiate and drive trade studies and system development activities Experience in developing complex systems (ideally in defence) Strong stakeholder management skills Experience of working with product lines would be beneficial
