Location: Waltham Forest, East London Contract: Full Time | 1 Year Fixed Term Start Date: September 2026 Pay: M1 - UPS3 daily rate Potential: Permanent position available at the end of the contract

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a KS1 Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in the centre of Waltham Forest from September 2026. This full-time position will run for the academic year, with the potential for the successful candidate to secure a permanent position at the end of the contract.

The Opportunity

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

Take responsibility for delivering engaging and purposeful lessons across KS1 Create a classroom environment where children feel confident, valued and motivated Plan learning that challenges and supports pupils of different abilities Track pupil progress and use assessment to inform future teaching Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues Work closely with the wider teaching team to share ideas and best practice Contribute positively to the wider school community

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within KS1 is desirable A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching Excellent classroom management and communication skills A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils Someone keen to develop professionally and take advantage of career progression opportunities ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
