Role: Training Specialist
Location: Field-Based - Northern Ireland, covering Southern and Western Trusts ( must be a driver) Hours: Full-time Pay: £185 - £240 per day PAYE basic excluding holiday pay or £230 - £300 per day UMB Contract: 9-Month Contract, Inside IR35
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Training Specialist to join one of our longstanding global healthcare clients. This field-based role will focus on delivering high-quality training across healthcare settings in Northern Ireland, supporting the implementation and ongoing use of diagnostic products.
Please note: Candidates must be available immediately and based within easy reach of the Southern and Western Trusts . Regular travel will be required, including some overnight stays and occasional unsocial hours.

The Requirements:
Strong training experience, ideally within diagnostics, medical devices or healthcare Registered Nurse background or previous medical device training experience would be highly advantageous Strong scientific knowledge, both theoretical and practical, within a medical setting Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to deliver engaging face-to-face training Strong organisation, time management and decision-making skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with wider teams Full UK/EU or equivalent driving licence Access to a vehicle Passport for potential overseas training Fluent written and verbal English Immediate availability essential Must be located within easy reach of the Southern and Western Trusts
Desirable:
Degree-level education or equivalent Nursing background, ideally Registered Nurse Knowledge of Primary and Secondary Care organisations within the NHS Previous hospital-based experience Experience designing and delivering tailored training programmes Familiarity with medical analytical systems and quality assurance Experience using customer relationship management systems Proven troubleshooting and on-site customer support experience Awareness of the diagnostics industry Experience working within a multicultural environment
The Role:
Deliver and record product training for healthcare customers Support the implementation of blood glucose and ketone solutions across multiple Trusts Provide training support during product launches and new implementations Support hardware and software implementation activities Handle training-related customer enquiries Provide occasional troubleshooting and technical assistance Ensure training is delivered in line with required standards and procedures Maintain accurate training records and documentation Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure effective training delivery Travel regularly across customer sites within Northern Ireland Support customers through implementation, onboarding and ongoing product use Contribute to a high-quality customer experience throughout the training process
