Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Chartered Building Surveyor to join a growing and recently established team in Manchester. This opportunity is ideally suited to an ambitious, newly qualified Chartered Building Surveyor seeking a varied role, direct client exposure, and a clear pathway for professional development and progression. Your new role As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will work across a broad range of professional and project-based instruction, supporting clients with their commercial property requirements. You will be involved in delivering high-quality surveying services while developing your expertise across a varied and engaging workload. Key responsibilities will include:
Undertaking acquisition surveys and providing associated advice. Carrying out dilapidations surveys and negotiating settlements. Preparing and managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes. Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and improvement projects. Delivering project management services from inception through to completion. Advising on and monitoring statutory compliance requirements. Building and maintaining strong client relationships with clients and industry professionals.
What you'll need to succeed
Be a newly qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or approaching qualification. Have 1-2 years' experience in a Building Surveying role, ideally gained within the commercial property sector. Possess experience across both professional and project-based building surveying work. Have knowledge of acquisition surveys, dilapidations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), contract administration, project management, and statutory compliance. Be proactive, ambitious, and eager to contribute to the growth and success of a developing team. Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel as required.
