A well established organisation in West London is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of day to day financial operations and support senior management with planning and analysis. This is a full time role offering genuine scope to shape financial processes, with a collaborative team, clear progression, and a strong benefits package including pension, employee discounts, and on site parking.
Responsibilities for the role:
As Finance Manager, you'll oversee the full financial function, from management accounts and budgeting through to payroll, VAT, and year end reporting.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring Oversee purchase and sales ledger functions Run payroll and statutory payments Prepare VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts Produce year end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes Support senior management with financial planning and business analysis Manage credit control and monitor cash flow Lead and support the wider finance team
Requirements for the role:
A recognised accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), part or fully qualified Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or Senior Accountant Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial regulations Proven experience with management accounts, budgets, and forecasts Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks Good analytical and problem solving skills Strong organisational skills and clear communication Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines A sharp eye for detail when handling financial information
