We’re working with a well-established civil engineering specialist delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they’re looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor and a Seniour Quantity Surveyor to work from their Leeds office.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects, work closely with senior stakeholders, and play a key role in driving commercial performance across a varied portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a QS/SQS you'll be trusted to manage the commercial lifecycle of projects, including:
Taking full commercial responsibility for multiple live projects Managing costs, forecasts, and project budgets Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts Overseeing subcontractor procurement and commercial management Producing CVRs, cashflow forecasts, and financial reports Advising operational teams on contractual matters Building strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who are:
Experienced within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction Confident managing projects independently or as part of a team Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills Familiar with NEC contracts Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying or similar Rail experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
