Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business in Derby to recruit a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Location : Derby Salary: £55,000 p.a. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Rotating 3 Shifts
6:00am - 2:00pm 2:00pm - 10:00pm 10:00pm - 6:00am
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting cutting-edge automation and production systems.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting and improving a wide range of manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated production lines. Perform PLC fault finding and support automation systems. Maintain motor control systems, drives and electrical distribution equipment. Support robotic systems and automated machinery. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximise plant performance. Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime.
About You
To be successful in this Electrical Maintenance Engineer position, you will possess:
Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Strong PLC fault-finding skills. Versatile individual with strong electrical expertise and the ability to fault-find across complex automated production machinery. Experience with motor controls, inverters and automation systems. Knowledge of robotics and automated production equipment. A flexible and hands-on approach to maintenance engineering. Excellent problem-solving and fault-diagnosis abilities.
