Accounts Senior
Location: Holmfirth / Huddersfield
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 DOE
A growing accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. This is a varied role with a strong focus on client service, career development and progression.
The Role
You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing support across accounts, tax and general accounting services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts
- Preparing corporation and personal tax returns
- Bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Supporting and training junior team members
- Assisting with ad hoc accounting and client projects
- Building strong client relationships and providing a high level of service
About You
- 5+ years’ accountancy practice experience
- AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong experience preparing year-end accounts
- Confident and professional when dealing with clients
- Friendly, proactive and commercially minded
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience with IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks would be advantageous
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 5 or above
