The Opportunity: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified or nearly qualified Management Accountant near Bridlington to join a well-established organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Operating within a supportive yet agile environment, this role offers significant exposure across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key part in shaping financial performance and decision-making. This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, variety and the opportunity to influence outcomes beyond the finance function. Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary. Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities. Produce financial reports, KPIs and business performance analysis. Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to support decision-making. Assist with VAT returns, financial controls and compliance requirements. Support year-end and interim audit processes. Contribute to business cases and financial evaluation of investment opportunities. Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting. Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to support strategic initiatives.
You Will Be/Have:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or in the final stages of qualification. Experience producing management accounts and month-end reporting. Strong analytical and Excel skills. Confident working with stakeholders across a business. A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, construction or project-driven environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
