QUALITY ENGINEER - COVENTRY
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our well-established manufacturing client based in Coventry.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer , Manufacturing Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer to join a successful business and play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving product, process and quality standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers and customers, investigating quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
Rates of Pay:
£48,000 per annum
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm Full-time, permanent position

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Quality Engineer , you will work:
Supporting and maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process Investigating internal and external quality issues and implementing corrective actions Carrying out root cause analysis and ensuring preventative measures are put in place Managing non-conformances and supporting effective resolution Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve product and process quality Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation Monitoring quality performance and identifying trends and areas for improvement Completing and maintaining accurate quality documentation and records Supporting internal and external quality audits Liaising with suppliers regarding quality issues and corrective actions Responding to customer quality concerns and ensuring issues are resolved effectively Supporting new product introduction and changes to existing manufacturing processes Ensuring products meet customer specifications and required quality standards Promoting a strong quality culture throughout the business
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Quality Engineer , you will need:
Previous experience working as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong understanding of manufacturing quality processes and procedures Experience investigating quality issues and completing root cause analysis Knowledge of corrective and preventative actions Experience managing non-conformances Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience working with production and engineering teams Good understanding of quality management systems Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to confidently communicate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders A proactive approach to continuous improvement
