As an Electrical Engineer, you will be tasked with ensuring the efficiency of electrical plant equipment on site, carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance, actively troubleshoot / fault find, work as part of a team and ensure the client on site is satisfied with the service provided.
Electrical Shift Engineer Duties:
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair tasks Work on single and three-phase electrical systems, including motors, emergency lighting, fire alarms, pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS) Safely isolate equipment and systems when necessary to carry out work Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with current regulations and industry standards Consistently follow and promote safe working practices and procedures Maintain detailed and accurate records, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and site logbooks Use PDA systems to manage workflow, including job allocation, updates, and closures
Electrical Shift Engineer Requirements:
Fully qualified within Electrical Engineering / Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) with electrical regulation qualifications Minimum of at least 3 years within commercial building services Great knowledge of commercial electrical equipment Client facing attitude
Electrical Shift Engineer Salary and Package:
£55,000 per annum Continental Shift Pattern (7- 7) Company pension scheme 20 days annual leave Additional training Work on a flagship site Plenty of overtime Internal progression
