Are you an experienced Accountant or Finance Manager who enjoys being hands-on, having variety and making things better?
Are you a Finance Manager who enjoys making changes and embraces new technologies ?
Our client operates across a variety of sectors and as the business continuing to grow, they are now investing in their finance function and looking for someone who can help shape the next stage.
What makes this role different?
This isn't a role where you'll simply be processing numbers and producing reports.
As Finance Manager you'll work closely with the Managing Director and wider management team, providing the financial insight they need to make better decisions. You'll have the freedom to review what's already in place, identify where things could work better and put your own ideas into practice.
The Finance Manager
Management accounts and internal financial reporting Cash-flow forecasting and financial analysis Invoice processing using SAGE and DEXT Intercompany accounting and cross-charges Financial controls and process improvements Year-end support and management information Managing one part-time member of the finance team VAT returns and wider financial compliance as your role develops
About you
We're looking for someone who is experienced, commercially minded and comfortable working independently.
You might currently be an Accountant, Management Accountant, Company Accountant or Finance Manager within an SME or similarly hands-on environment.
Attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality are essential, as you'll be trusted with sensitive financial and commercial information and will work closely with senior management.
