Breakfast Chef – Luxury Hotel & Spa
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Salary: £13.28 per hour
Live-in accommodation: Available
Driving: Essential unless using staff accommodation
We are recruiting an experienced Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen team at a luxury hotel and spa in Newmarket .
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys a busy breakfast service and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and excellent presentation.
You will work alongside two other Breakfast Chefs , preparing and serving plated breakfast for up to 160 guests each morning.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to order Deliver a high-quality plated breakfast service for up to 160 guests Work efficiently as part of a team of three Breakfast Chefs Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and consistency Prepare fresh ingredients and maintain mise en place Manage busy service while maintaining high standards Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness Follow food safety and health & safety procedures Support the wider kitchen team when required
About You
We're looking for a chef with:
Previous experience in breakfast service, hotels or high-volume catering Good knowledge of breakfast cooking and service The ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy periods Excellent attention to detail and presentation A positive attitude and strong team-working skills Reliability and flexibility A passion for delivering high-quality food and guest service
Hours & Benefits
40 hours per week 6:00am – 2:00pm 5 days out of 7 Weekend and bank holiday working as required Live-in accommodation available Opportunity to work within a luxury hotel and spa Professional and supportive kitchen environment
A full driving licence and access to a car is essential if you are not taking staff accommodation , due to the early 6:00am start and location.
