Location: London
Location: Canary Wharf (3 days onsite expected) Contract Duration: 6 months initially - opportunity for up to 2 years! Daily Rate: £450 Umbrella
Shape the Future of Data Engineering
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer (AVP) to join our development team in London. This role will help drive our migration from a legacy Oracle environment to a modern cloud-based data platform powered by Databricks.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop and enhance Data Marts using Databricks, SQL and Python. Build scalable,reliable and high-performing data pipelines. Support Oracle-to-cloud migration initiatives. Collaborate with architects, DBAs and business stakeholders. Drive automation, monitoring and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
Strong Databricks and cloud data platform experience Expertise in SQL and working knowledge of Python. Knowledge of data modelling and ETL/ELT best practices. Experience migrating Oracle or legacy platforms. Understanding of CI/CD, Git and orchestration tools.
