We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the housebuilding sector . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business where your expertise will be valued, and your contribution recognised. The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects – from site procurement through to final account . You’ll be working on a variety of residential schemes and will be fully involved in all aspects of cost planning and control. Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and issuing trade specifications and tender packages Tender analysis and subcontractor appointment Managing subcontractor packages and attending pre-start meetings Ensuring health & safety compliance is in place pre-construction Budget management and cost reporting Site measurements, valuations, and managing final accounts Liaising with internal and external teams to drive commercial success
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housebuilding/residential development sector Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, hands-on approach Ability to run your own projects independently Excellent communication and negotiation skills Full UK driving licence (regular site travel required)
