We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our team!
The Finance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. There may be a focus on Accounts Payable or Credit Management activities, but the role will provide broader support across the Finance team as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their finance career within a collaborative environment.
Please note this role is a 12-month fixed-term contract to support ongoing project work.

Key Responsibilities may include:
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls. Reconcile supplier or customer statements ensuring queries are identified and resolved in an efficient manner. Set up of new supplier or customer accounts. Invoice matching to purchase orders raised in Basware (purchase to pay software). Purchase requisition/purchase order production. Process Adyen/PayPal payment files and reconcile to e-com ledger in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls. Process rebate and sales adjustment credit notes in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls. Support cash allocations as required. Oversee generic joint mailboxes to ensure that emails received are responded to/resolved in a timely and appropriate manner. Logging of customs paperwork and completion of declarations online. Carry out any other ad hoc responsibilities as required by your Line Manager.
