Job Title: Project Manager - Social Housing Decarbonisation (SHDF)
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Temporary contract through to end of March)
Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rates (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) project in Milton Keynes . This 6-month contract focuses on delivering whole-house retrofit measures to upgrade social housing stock to EPC Band C standards.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end management of decarbonisation project packages across social housing estates.
Drive operational delivery of energy efficiency technologies including Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Cavity Wall, and Loft Insulation.
Manage client relationships, sub-contractor supply chains, project budgets, and key delivery milestones.
Ensure full compliance with UK government decarbonisation grant requirements, PAS 2035 frameworks, and Health & Safety legislation.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven track record managing social housing, planned maintenance, or renewable energy/decarbonisation projects.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management, APM/PRINCE2, SMSTS, and CSCS Black/Platinum Card.
Technical Understanding: Good knowledge of SHDF frameworks, EPC targets, and multi-measure renewable installations.
